# Global/All Properties

Properties is something essential in B2Data where you can pass property values from one node to another or define a property to be used everywhere and can be managed from one place.

From Global properties you can define a new property for example: FilePath and in every node you can read the value of it and even change its value at any point in the workflow.

In this view:

You can see:

1. List of properties in gray and read-only indicating what the system adds as default properties for each execution, the value of these properties will be added by the system.
2. You can add new property by clicking on Add Property, more on adding property in the Properties section.
